Abstract
This paper explores the rapidly declining retail industry and the challenges faced by retailers due to political factors. The research focuses on the effectiveness of missionary socialist strategies as a means for retailers to overcome these challenges. The study utilizes a mixed-methods approach, including qualitative interviews with retail industry experts and quantitative analysis of industry trends. Findings suggest that political challenges, such as trade policies and labor regulations, significantly contribute to the decline of the retail industry. However, the implementation of missionary socialist strategies, such as promoting social and environmental responsibility, can effectively mitigate these challenges. The research also highlights the importance of rooted evidence-based approaches in developing effective strategies for retailers. The paper concludes with recommendations for retailers to adopt missionary socialist strategies and a call for further research in this area.
