Abstract
This paper explores the innovative approach of training street smart automobile managers to excel in central transport banking at Blaber Apartments. The study employs a qualitative research design using semi-structured interviews with a purposive sample of 20 automobile managers, who were trained using a customized curriculum designed specifically for their unique backgrounds and experiences. The findings reveal that the training program not only helped the automobile managers acclimate to the banking industry culture, but it also enhanced their financial management skills, leadership abilities, and customer service orientation. The study identifies key factors that contributed to the success of the training program, including the use of real-life case studies and role-playing exercises, as well as the active involvement of senior management in mentoring and coaching the automobile managers. The paper concludes by highlighting the implications of these findings for human resource development and organizational performance, and recommends that similar training programs be instituted in other industries to tap the potential of street-smart employees and promote inclusive economic growth.
