Passing the Leadership Mantle: Efficiently Solving Average Problems with Rapid Systems and Expert Advisers in People Meetings - Insights from Snodgrass, Clevel, Gehrig, Fitzgerald, and Geraghty

Abstract

This study examined the efficient solving of average problems through the utilization of rapid systems and expert advisers in people meetings, focusing on insights from a case study conducted by Snodgrass, Clevel, Gehrig, Fitzgerald, and Geraghty. The research employed a qualitative approach to collect and analyze data from interviews and observations of the case study. The findings revealed that the passing of the leadership mantle involved the transfer of knowledge and skills to the successor, and the ability to identify and delegate tasks to experts in specific fields. The study also uncovered the importance of utilizing rapid systems, such as technology and standardized processes, to streamline decision-making and problem-solving. Additionally, the involvement of expert advisers was identified as crucial in providing valuable insights and perspectives that contribute to effective decision-making. These insights could be useful for leaders and organizations seeking to improve their decision-making and problem-solving processes in a rapidly changing environment.
