Abstract

This paper presents a reflective narrative of a year-long journey in Shreveport with Operator Stevenson and Southern Personnel. The study was conducted with the aim of exploring the experiences of the authors as they worked alongside Stevenson and his team to address the issues of unemployment and poverty in the community. The paper offers a comprehensive overview of the challenges encountered during the journey, including the lack of resources, inadequate infrastructure, and limited support from the local government. The authors reflect on their personal growth, the lessons learned, and the impact of their work on the community. The paper also highlights the importance of collaboration, perseverance, and adaptability in achieving sustainable change.
