The Masons Credited Resolution: Pairing Suggestions and Problem-Solving in a Wildly Dangerous Museum

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of the Masons Credited Resolution (MCR) approach in addressing challenges faced by museum staff in a highly dangerous workplace. Using a qualitative case study design, data was collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results indicate that the MCR approach, which involves pairing suggestions with problem-solving, was highly effective in promoting communication, collaboration, and innovation among the staff. Additionally, the MCR approach was found to be instrumental in identifying and addressing safety concerns in the museum, resulting in a significant reduction in accidents and injuries. The study concludes that the MCR approach can be an effective tool for improving workplace safety and promoting teamwork in high-risk settings. Implications for practice and future research are discussed.
