Planned Policies and Modest Achievements: The Newly-Appointed Judgeship at William During College of Textiles and its Contribution to Pakistans Ginners

Abstract

This paper investigates the newly-appointed judgeship at William During College of Textiles and its contribution to Pakistan's ginners. The study examines the planned policies implemented by the judgeship, the outcomes of these policies, and the views of the ginners on the judgeship's impact. The research is conducted through a mixed-methods approach, utilizing surveys, interviews, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the judgeship has implemented several policies aimed at improving the quality of gin produced in Pakistan, including the introduction of new machinery and the provision of training programs for ginners. However, the achievements of these policies have been modest, with only a small proportion of ginners reporting significant improvements in their production processes and products. The study suggests that the judgeship needs to re-evaluate its policies and strategies to better meet the needs and challenges of the ginners in Pakistan. Overall, this research sheds light on the role of judgeships in promoting innovation and development in the textile industry and provides insights for policymakers and practitioners in the field.
